The design of St. Peter's Square was influenced by both the Hermetic Movement--a form of natural magic--and the Heliocentric Movement, launched by Copernicus. Despite the Church’s rejection of these movements St. Peter’s Square in fact became the largest Sun Temple in the world, built according to Hermetic principles.
