Our world system of economics, based on the false belief of separateness and benefitting a few at the expense of the many, arose as a reaction to an extinction event that occurred 12,000 years ago when the survivors--our ancestors--were catapulted into a world of scarcity. But the opportunity is at hand to transcend these inherited selfish traits and return to a Golden Age of peace and abundance.
